Why Another Jewish Organization

Most Jewish organizations are organized as 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organizations which legally prevents them from engaging in many political activities including endorsing and campaigning for specific candidates.

HoCoJag is structured as a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization; this means that donations to HoCoJAG  are not tax-deductible, but are allowed to be used for direct political action such as endorsing candidates, campaigning on their behalf, financial support, legal challenges, and more.
